Hi—I’m Julie, an independent Stampin’ Up!® Demonstrator!

Did you know I actually invited myself to my very first Stampin’ Up! workshop? I was curious and excited to learn, but I never imagined that simple moment would turn into a 23-year journey filled with creativity, friendships, and so many blessings.

Some of the most creative people I know once said, “I’m not crafty at all.”

And those are some of my favorite people to craft with.

Over the years, Stampin’ Up! has become so much more than stamps and paper. It has grown into a life-giving community filled with creativity, encouragement, and friendship.

As a full-time demonstrator for more than two decades, one of my greatest joys has been helping the “un-crafty” discover that they really can create pretty things. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of coaching thousands of people to stamp their first handmade card. Watching someone’s confidence grow as they finish their first handmade card never gets old! Moments like that are the reason I still love doing this after all these years.

But what started with stamps and paper quickly became something much bigger.

Along the way, I’ve been blessed with so many beautiful friendships. My customers have become great friends, and our team, the Stamp-N-Sisters, is a creative community where encouragement and laughter are always present.

As those relationships grew, so did the role faith began to play in this journey.

One of the most meaningful ways that has unfolded is through Creating for Christ, which I co-lead with my very dear friend, Ronda Wade. This facebook community is where crafting and faith come together to encourage and inspire others to pray, create, and use our creativity for God’s glory.

Of course, life outside the craft room is pretty full and fun, too.

I’m married to my best friend, Mark, better known to our Stamp-N-Shine community as “Mr. Mark.” We’re enjoying this empty-nest season of life with our two golden retrievers, Finn and Fiona, who happily run the house. We treasure time with our son, Matt, and our amazing daughter-in-law, Jackie. Life at the Salva house usually includes great food, strong coffee, and faith that keeps everything grounded.

Our family is very active in our church, and when the opportunity comes along, Mark and I love being what we jokingly call “traveling influencers.” Whether we’re exploring new places or sharing little moments of joy in our Instagram stories, we love the adventure.

And if you spend any time around me, you’ll quickly learn something very important…

I believe crafting should always include two things:

Creativity and laughter.

That belief is really what led to Stamp-N-Shine.

Stamp-N-Shine was born from my love of paper crafting and a mission to bring light into everyday life. From tutorials to YouTube antics, there’s something here for longtime friends, new friends, and anyone ready to get creative. I share card ideas and step-by-step tutorials on my YouTube channel, and you’ll also find creative inspiration in my Facebook group. Both are great places to see what I’m creating and learn new techniques.
