Julie Salva is an empty nester from Lebanon, Tennessee who loves encouraging women through speaking, mentoring, teaching, writing, and fueling it all with Diet Mountain Dew. She’s been married to her husband, Mark, for 35 years and is the proud mom to her son, Matt, her daughter-in-law, Jackie, and their two very spoiled Golden Retrievers, Finn and Fiona. Whether she’s sharing a message from the stage or around the craft table, Julie’s heart is to help others grow in faith, find joy in creativity, and know they’re never walking alone.

Meet julie
Julie teaches Bible studies and leads Life Groups at her church, Hermitage Hills Baptist. On Monday evenings, she also gathers with women from around the world for online Zoom Bible studies, creating a place where friendships grow and God’s Word is explored together.
She is the co-founder of Creating for Christ, an online Facebook community of more than 8,000 women (and a few wonderful men!) who share a love for Jesus and creativity.
Before stepping into full-time ministry and creative entrepreneurship, Julie was a high school English teacher and an NCAA Division I Athletic Academic Counselor. She has also been an independent Stampin’ Up!® demonstrator for more than 20 years and has had the opportunity to speak at both local and national Stampin’ Up! events.
At first glance, you might describe Julie by her love of family, laughter, and creativity. But if you ask her, she’d tell you that’s not what defines her.
Jesus does.
Whether she’s speaking at a conference, leading a Bible study, or gathering women around a craft table, Julie’s greatest desire is to point people to Christ. Through biblical teaching, humor, personal stories, and Scripture, she encourages women to experience the freedom, hope, and grace found only in Him.
